In an age where privacy concerns are becoming increasingly prevalent, and corporate data analysis can track our every move, I take a look at how the future of entertainment might come to reflect these anxieties - and how Lynch's once-maligned film could be a conceptual blueprint for this manner of panoptic surveillance.
